A meeting of business men voted in favour of establishing ;i commercial library, as part of the Municipal Library, and determined to ascertain what contributions towards the cost could he relied upon. The library authorities (old them that the City had no funds for the purpose but could find a room in the municipal library. The estimated expense was £3OO.
