CAROLINE BAY.

To tb« Editor of the “Tim*ru Her*ld." Sir.—ln reply to “Admirer’s” letter, may I state that my taste does not happen to be all in my mouth, as is the case with many Timaruvians. As for “Indignant’s” remarks, 1 would like to inform him, or her, that I have travelled far throughout tho Dominion. Again “Visitor” says that Titahi Bay Jacks all accommodation, etc., but as 1 have just visited Wellington, may I point out that it has good courts, excellent bathing sheds and good all-round conveniences. Now for “X.Y.” When a visitor comes to such a boosted place as Caroline Bay, he at least expects to be well catered lor as regards meals. Perhaps “X.Y.’’ is a dyspeptic. This would account for his overlooking such “trivialities” as the “delapidatcd tea-rooms.”—l am, etc., DECEIVED. Timaru, February 27.
