ANOTHER VISITOR’S VIEWS.

To the Editor of the "Timaru Herald." Sir. —Being a visitor to Timaru, I quite endorse the remarks of “Deceived.” Caroline Bay is great, and a glorious place to spend a holiday, and certainly worthier of something more artistic in the way of tea-rooms, than the present affair. 1 should also like to suggest some other f entry lor cars to the Bay, than through I the viaduct. It is a marvel to me that there has not been a serious accident there lk-fore now, especially at holiday j time, with so many children about. Another thing that would be of great ! convenience to holiday-makers, as well as a great asset to the Bay, as a paying concern, would be a number of private shelter sheds along the bench, which could be rented out weekly, raonthlv, or for the season; a little more music of an afternoon, too, would be very enjoyable.—l am, etc., ANOTHER VISITOR. Timaru, February 26.
