END OF LIBEL ACTION. (United Press Association—By Electric ( < , i, Telegraph—Copyright.) OTTAWA:, May 1. A message from Cobourg states that after a fortnight’s Sensational trial, the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff in Sir A. Currie’s 50,000 dollars libel suit, awarding 500 dollars damages. It is understood that the jury was for Several hours divided, ll for plaintiff and one for defendants. In 1860 King Edward danced in the Court House, where the trial was held, when visiting Canada as Prince of Wales.
