ROYAL COMMISSION IN SAMOA.
Dreary Day On Saturday. NATIVE WITNESSES EXAMINED. (Special to the Press Association.) By Radio. APIA, October 9. Saturday ended a dreary day. A long succession of witnesses traversed careers of the Faipules, charges of illegalities, remissness of duty, interference with village officials, and usurpations of the duties of the High Court or Administrator. The witnesses were all Samoans, speaking through an interpreter, and progress was slow.
