NEW ZEALAND TEAM, By Tjieprajih —Press AssoMation. AUCKLAND, October 10. Mr 3’. M. Lowry, whose son is captain of the New Zealand cricket team, was a passenger by the Aorangl. He saw Ihe team play several matches against strong county teams, and says he thought it proved much stronger in batting than was expected. The players earned golden opinions at Home. Mr Lowry was loth to mention an;’ nno player, but lie could not help referring to the great promise shown by Dempster and Blunt. The latter's century against Kent was a magnificent effort.
