1 1 Mr F. L. Wooles. ■ AVind moderate; fresh easterly weather, fair and mild, but becoming unsettled. The outlook for the week ending September 23 is: AVind, main]}' easterly, southerly weather, more or less unsettled. Dominion Meteorologist. Present indications are for easterly gales northwards of Kawhia and East Cape, and south-easterly winds, increasing elsewhere; weather becoming stormy with heavy rain in the northern parts of the North Island and cold and unsettled, with rain following generally, but fair in the AVest Coast districts of the South Island. An intense cyclone, situated north-west of New Zealand, is now centred west of Norfolk Islands. The barometer, is likely to fall, especially in the north.
