The Health Ministry’s report announces that poor law relief has risen 350 per cent. t and outdoor relief 1000 per cent, since 1914, The outdoor figures show that in 1914 387,796 persona cost £2.214,680; in 1927 1,722,084 persons cost £23.750,000.
