Miss Rubens plays the featured role, appearing first- as a young bride who finds herself disliked by her husband's people, the ITcriots. Later she is accused unjustly by her husband. _ After a lapse of eighteen years, she is seen in France, where she has raised her bov to believe that his father is dead. Tlie story then works its way to a thrilling climax, the outcome of which is never certain until the final flash on the screen.
