APPRENTICES ACT, 19 23. To Apprentices and their Employers in the Printing Trade and the Boot Repairing Trade in the Canterbury Industrial District. DURSUANT to the above Act and to the Orders of the Court of Arbitration thereunder the Act applies, with certain exceptions, to all apprentices and their employers in the industries and districts for which such orders are made, and any contracts of apprenticeship to which the Act, applies shall be read subject to the Act accordingly. Notice is therefore given that orders are now in force applying to the above industries in the above dis,Irict. Inter alia all contracts of apprenticeship shall be in writing and shall be registered at my office not later than twenty-eight days after the application of the Act thereto or after the commencement of the employment, whichever is the later.
