These defeats were due to the fundamental errors of the system. Soviet Russia rested upon a coni promise between skilled Russian workers am! peasant owners. The Russians therefore should bo the natural allies of all nalional freedom movements abroad, but non-Russian Communis us were forced to rely on tho poorest iweomproinising anti-national sections >f the Labourites, which caused intolerable contradictions and failures. Trying simultaneously to work with the Tuco-Cook bourgeois, Kuomintang am! Shanghai workers was bound to bring disaster. The Third International was seriously damaging Soviet Russia ami the Labour movement abroad, ami should dissolve.
