The Parliamentarv Buddings at -Melbourne, which for the past quarter of a century have housed the Federal Parliament, were formally handed back to the State. All records and books from the library and most. of tho historical portraits have been sent to Canberra, whero they will bo placed in the new Parliament buildings, in readiness for the offic’al opening by the Duke of York, on May 9.
