TASMANIA’S FALLING BIRTHRATE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April 28, 7.0 p.m.) HOBART, April 28. Tasmania’s birth-rate for 1920 was 23.5 compared with 24.5 for the previous year, and tho lowest since 1850. The rate since 191,3 has declined over 20 per cent. The death-rate in 1926 is the Umest on record.
