(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOOTBALL CLUB The annual meeting of the .rairlie Fouuuaii ouo was iield at J 1 aniie. The president, (_ur J. U’Connor) presided over a large amt enthusiastic attendance. Tne secretary read the annual n port and balance slicet-, winch were adopted. T'lio balance shoot showed a credit of TiS, winch was considered satisfactory. Thu report shoved the club to have had a very successful season, and although tne senior team were not successiul in winning the competition, they performed witli credit. .During the year, several junior games were played, and the junior team also perlormed with credit. it was hoped tins year that the Sub-Union wouid endeavour tu hold a junior competition. During the tear, the following members were selected to represent AJackenzie Bub-Union: —A. i'icKeriiig, E. Robinson, M. Black, L. Mackenzie, fch Mackenzie, A. Mackenzie, it. Dowell, D. Beddings, F. Stevenson and W. G. Black. A. Pickering, G. Beddings and A. Mackenzie were selected tor South Canterbury. E. Robinson was also selected, but an accident! sustained m die held, prevented Jam from playing. The Club congratulated these members oil the way they delimited themselves.
