Trans-Continental Lines. BIG COMBINE PROPOSAL. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 17, 8.‘50 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. A German air combine, following up the success of last year’s experimental air services, have inaugurated a regular trans-Continental line. The special machines include a ten-berth sleeper, with British-Napier engines. The service will begin on May Day. A triple-engined German air liner will leave Croydon, at four each morning, and fly to Amsterdam, Hanover and Berlin, with connections to Scandanavia and. Russia.
