Purdy 'Now Zealand) defeated Raymond Jansen, the French boxer, on points iii an exciting fifteen-round contest. Jansen was aggressive in the first and last rounds, evidently seeking a knockout, but Purdy was too clever. IBs head and footwork were excellent and lie had ii eoinfortable lend.
