A pastoral inspector, after a tour ot the State, reports that with the exception of tlie country east and south of Charieville, the country is in a bad state owing to drought, and from three miles north of Charieville to Longrescii is in a deplorable condition. tt is only possible for holdings to carry <ju with the present feed tot the weeks.
