Under the auspices of the Caroline Bay Association, the Timaru Municipal Bard will give a band recital at the Bav on Sunday, commencing at 8.15 p.m. There will be no collection.

A meeting of the North End Association will be held in the Waimataitai School, on AVednesday next, at 7.30. All interested in the North End improvement are invited to attend.

Holiday excursion faros to Dunedin. in connection with the Forbury Park trotting races are advertiised by the Railway Department in this issue.
