Miss Aitkcn, who was the guest of Mrs Burdon, Woodbury, has returned to Christchurch.

Miss Leslie LeCren, Mornington, Dunedin, is staying with Mrs C. J. LeCren, Grey Road. Miss M. Arras, Glen-iti, and Miss J. Baker, Timaru, spent last week-end at Levels Valley.

Mrs J. Mowbray Tripp, “Silverton,” 'Woodbury, is in Christchurch for the Pavlova season.

Mr L. Thompson motored through to Christchurch yesterday, and expects to return home on Friday.

Mrs Ben Howell, Cave, is staying in Christchurch with lier mother, Mi's George Rhodes, “Beverley.” Mrs W. F. Hamilton, "Ashwiek,” Fairlic, lias returned from a slioit visit to Ohristoliuveli.

Sirs Neill' Rattray, Waimate, is staying in Christchurch with her mother. Mrs George Helmore. Mrs W. Jenkins, Invercargill, is the guest of Mrs J. B. Murray' Wellington, Timaru.

Mrs C. Chamberlin, of Ponui Island, Auckland, and Mrs Hale, of Clievorton, are visiting Mrs Alex Elliott, High Street.

Mr and Mrs J. Page, who were staving in Timaru for a few davs last week, motored back to Mount.'Gerald cn Sunday.
