N.S.W. MINES RESUMING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Australian, and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, Juno 21. Everything is now in order for the resumption of work by tile miners tomorrow. Striking engine drivers and firemen, mi inhered 1000, returned on Friday and Saturday, to prepare the mines. Efforts are being made to settle several sectional disputes, which were in existence before the general strike began. The trouble at Coalcliff over wages which has been in existence since the beginning of the year, has been settled. A hitch occurred on the South Mai inland field over the conditions of work. With the mines resuming, the question of relief orders for unemployed will cease to be the big matter it is at present with'the Police Department. During thb past few weeks tho average number of orders issued pel week has been 400, the value of each ranging from 6s Gd to 31s Gd. It is expected that claims will lie made till the first nay is received. Shipping companies are making preparations lo resume tho time tables which hud been disorganised by tlio shortage of coal.

It appeared up to late this afternoon, Unit none of tlio mines would be restarted, tlio owners announcing that until tlie men were prepared to resume at’all the mines, tlie same day, none would reopen, but after a, conference with the. owners, the men decided to return to all tho mines to-morrow.
