ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

MAN.) CEMENT COMMITTEE. The .weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the S.C.E.A. was held last night. Mr Burn occupied the chair, and the following members were present: Messrs Bcgbie, Jarvis, Fodcn, R. Bell, Dceherty, Sherry, Thomson, : ! E. Smail (secretary). Messrs .L.xon, Wynn and Green were also present. Correspondence from the New Zealand Association. Oanniru, Christchurch and Ashburton was dealt with. It was agreed that the Bangers Football Club try and arrange a game with Oanmru on Saturday first, all players being asked to he present on Wednesday night in club room to arrange for the trip. Mr■ Bcgbie agreed to take charge of a team that intends to travel to Ashburton on Saturday first, to play Baring Square, players representing the Thistle, Colmoco and Ilovers agreeing to go. Mr Angus resigned from the position of minute secretary, and Mr Docherty agreed to fill the vacancy. \ The se'pction of representative players was left in the hands of the new selection committee—Messrs T. Sherry, A. Thomson and B. Bell. Two accounts were passed for payment. Four registrations for different clubs were accepted. Collections from Saturday’s games were allotted to the home teams. It was agreed upon that the boys' football be played on Bussell Square oil Saturday, Sir T. Sherry offering his services to control the game.
