FOOTBALL.
SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. AT FRASER PARK TO-DAY. The annual seven-a-side tourney will bo played in Timaru to-day, commencing at 9.45. A few minor eliminating games will be got olf at Anzac Reserve, commencing at 10 o’clock, but all the more important contests will be staged on Fraser Park, whore both grounds will be fully occupied until the finals are reached. The opening matches on No. 1 ground will be: —9.45, fiftli grade, School B. v. Celtic; 9.56, third, Star A. v. Zingari B.; 10.7, fifth. School B. v. Star B. No. 2 ground:— 9.45. fifth, Star C. v. Pareora; 9.56, third, Pareora A. v. School B.; 10.7, fifth, Zingari v. Temuka. Anzac:— 10.0. fourth, Washdyke v. School B.; 10.11, fourth, Star B. v. Celtic B. All games on Anzac will bo fourth grade. Special train arrangements have been made in connection with the tournament, and refreshments will be obtainab’o on tho ground. The entry totals 84 teams', and 68 games will be necessary to find tho winners of tho five sets of medals. Seven-a-side Rngbv has such a fascination for the football public that it is certain that tho usual big crowd will bo in evidence.
