PERSONAL.
Judge Gilfeddcr arrived in Temuka. yesterday, and will preside over a sitting of the Native Laud Court, which will commence on Friday morning. At a meeting of the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce held last evening, a vote of condolence was passed to Air P. B. Foote (vice-presi-dent, and immediate past president! in the bereavement sustained through the death of liis brother.
