MURDER CHARGE. By Teleffiaph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 3. After many remands on account of his inability to leave gaol owing to his state of health, ’Septimus Page, the Clevedon farmer who had been in custody for a considerable period on charges of murdering his twin children, appeared at tho Police Court this morning. I Chief-Detective Cummings said lie would have to ask that. Page should be again remanded, as Page considered that his physical condition was such that ho would be unable to follow the evidence. Accordingly accused was further remanded. ALLEGED THEFT OF CAR. AUCKLAND, May 3. At the Police Court, Stanley Hale Oawte (19), was charged with stealing a raf, valued at £22-1, the property of William Rental Cars Ltd., and a girl (aged 17), arrested with him nt Wellington, was charged with being an idle and disorderly person. It- was stated that Oawte tried to sell the car at Wellington, and that there were defalcations of about £IOO at the place where Oawte was. employed. It as also alleged that Cawto threatened to commit suicide. Cawto was remanded for a week in custody, and the girl unM May 11, PRISONERS SENTENCED. WELLINGTON, May 3. CHTNESE~GASfBLTNG DEN. WELLINGTON, May 3. Low Kirm, a Chinese, previously imprisoned for a similar offence in LLM, pleaded guilty at the Magistrate* Court to i-popimr ■’ row"'m minium house. He was fined £3O or twp months’ imprisonment. The place uas used for pak-a-poo. Another Chinese was fined £2 m seven days, for being on the premises.
