ELECTIONS IN EGYPT.

Interest is growing more intense regarding the general elections next month. The Chamber of Deputies comprises 214 members, of whom 57 have already been returned unopposed, including 43 Zaghlulists, who thus have got a Igood start. Three groups—Zagblulists, Liberal Constitutionalists and Nationalists—are fighting as a. coalition against the Unionists and Independents. ' Although Zaglilul Paisliu is old and infirm, it is considered practically certain that he will secure a majority in the new Chamber, which is exnected to meet 011 .Tune 5.
