HAVOC OF THE STORM.
CANARY IBLANDS SUFFER. By Cable-—Press Association—Copyright Renter’s Telegrams. (Received January 20, 10.30 p.m.) MADRID, January 19. Describing the terrifying character of the storm on Canary Islands, which lasted for three days, reports from Las Palmas say there was not a single house not damaged. Six bodies, so far, have been discovered, but the number of victims and the extent of the damage on the rest of the island is not known.
