(A previous message said : —A farm labourer, Albert McCormack, was found near the whare, 'where he worked at Herwick, with a bullet wound over the heart. He was taken to hospital, but died later. Frederick Newman, aged 16 years, lias been arrested and charged with murder. It is alleged that the boy stated about six months ago that McCormack struck him, and he had decided to kill McCormack at the first opportunity.)
