CABINET COIJNTER-MOVE IN SYDNEY. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright Australian ana N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, December 17. The State Cabinet has decided to appoint twelve new members to the Legislative Council next month. It is freely stated in Union circles that notwithstanding the Legislative Council’s action in amending the Arbitration Bill, the Unions are determined to insist on the Government abolishing the Loyalist Unions, and that the unions intend to force the Government’s hand. Tho Legislative Council carried the •third reading of the Industrial Arbitration Amendment and the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Amendments Bills, which have been returned to. the Assembly. The Legislative Council again rebuffed Use Government by rejecting by 25 votes to 14, a Bill aiming to absorb tho municipality of Waterloo in the city.
