An unknown assassin at Chicago obliterated the family of Mr Henry Jeske, bank cashier, on Saturday night in the town of Batavia. Secreting himself in Mr Jeske s house, he met Mr Jeske’s wife as she entered, braining her and shooting her two boys dead. Mr Jeske came running from the garage, and met a fusillade of shots, being killed instantly. There was no trace of the assassin. The victims’ bodies were found by newsboys next morning.
