• PRESBYTERIAL REPORT. The Rev J. D. p. Madill, of Geraldine,. occupied the pupijt of Trinity Presbyterian Church on Sunday, morning, by, appointment of„tho rresby tery, and, pleached to a large congregation. He read the finding winch was auupced in connection with the triennial visitation of'the. congregation,. and which was as.. follows : ■' * “It . is., with gratitude to Almighty God, that, the Presbytery hears tlie report of' tho 'commissioners appointed to carry out the Presbyterial visitation of Trinity congregation. They rejoice in its continued prosperity, not with satisfaction that the material affairs of the congregation are in a sonud and flourishing condition, congratulate tho minister and congregation oh having lidd the church building so thoroughly renovated, and on tlie increased liberality of their giving in support of their own and all other schemes of the church; Recalling the supreme importance of tho spiritual life of the church,.'the Presbytery rejbices in the. abtfndant evidence'bf real spiritual life in its , continued prosperity, note with large attendance lit the ordinary diets of .worship, the largo numbers joining ■this hh'ufch by profession of faith, tho lin'cfeascd niimber partaking of the sacrament of the Lord’s 'Supper,' tho seven- Bible Classes, - with their leaders •and .gratifying membership, and the well-staffed Sunday School, with nearly 300 scholars." The Presbytery notes, with pleasure tho number of elders who are Bible Class leaders and Sunday .School''Superintendents and teachers. The’work of tho P.W.M.U., Girls,; •Auxiliary, and Busy Bees is also most praiseworthy. - “Finally-,' the report shows that the minister, Rev, Thomas Stinson, 8.A., is successfully sustaining his ministry, and has the hearty support and co-operation of ' his- office-bearers and the whole congregation. It is gratifying to learn that ' peace, harmony and . goodwill prevail''in- the congregation, and the Presbytery feels assured that this is due in no small measure to the wisdom, tact, and evangelical preaching and faithful pastoral work of the minister, who is ably supported; by liis wife.. the Presbytery commends the minister, cider, managers, Sunday School teachers, Bible Class leaders, and all active workers, together with the members and adherents of the congregation, to the care and keeping of : Jesus Christ, tlie King and Head of ih& church j anti prays* tha/t *thc pcaco of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard the hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus our Lord.
