ST. JOHN’S BAZAAR. A bazaar in aid of St. John’s Sunday School was held in the "Victoria Hall .'.cri Thursday. There was a large attendance, and the function was a groao success in every way. The bazaar was opened by Mr 1. VBurnett, M.P., who delivered an interesting address. , The following were in charge of the stallsTemuka stall, Mesdames J. T. M. Hayhiirst, W. F. Salmon, W. P. Routledge, and W. G. Aspinall, Misses Phillips and Godwin; produce stall, Mesdames W. J. Moore and W. Norman; sweets stall, Mrs H. E. Smith, Misses B. Wilks, and R. South; work stall, Mesdames A. Tj. Barker, 0. Wilks, R. E; Smith, and Miss Orford; refreshments, Mesdames Cl Hawke, G. Rayment, L. H. Orbell, J. O. South, T. Connolly, Misses E. South, ami , London (2): bran tub, Misses M. Moore and M. Opie; sheep and bullock guessing, Mr A. Kimberskittle alley. Mr J. Deßenzy; hat trimming, Miss R. South; ladies 1 nail driving, Mr J. Philip. The following won prizes during the cvoning:—Mrs _ J. Deßonzy, Misses •Leather, Godwin, N. Smith, Messrs J. ~C. South, T. H. Langford, and W. young. Excellent music was suppied hv Misses Beryl and Myra Opie. Miss W.
