The Now Zealand delegation, at the International Council of Women, cabled congratulations to the Bntisn House of Commons on its unanimous acceptance of the principle that women have tho right to retain or change their nationality on marriage. The New Zealand delegation to-day attended a meeting of the Women’s Party of America. Mrs Jones discussed the immigration question with the CommissionerGeneral of Immigration. The Council adopted a resolution favouring the gradual simultaneous disarmament “under effective control, to be agreed upon by respective Governments and the League of Nations,” and favouring aiding peaceful relations by a policy of regarding neighbours as natural friends.
Lady Aberdeen was re-elected President.
