CASUALTIES.
FARMER’S SUDDEN DEATH. Mr Henry Raker, a farmer at Levels Valley, was found dead in one of his paddocks late yesterday afternoon. In company with his wife, Mr Baker w.as rounding up his cattle for the Pleasant Point sale. Among the cattle was a bull, and in chasing it, the deceased gentleman disappear from the view of Mrs Baker, following the animal over the brow of a hill. In the meantime, Mrs Baker returned to the house, and when her husband did not put in an appearance a search was made, Mr Baker being found lying in one of the outer paddocks with the bull standing over him. An inquest will be held to-day.
