Concerning the death of Mrs Lenthall, 'who was murdered yesterday, a fisherman , named Thomas, who lives next door, has been detailed by tho police, whose statement is that, Thomab, who had been in indifferent heifltli for some time, had;’ several slight quarrels with ~ ,his wife. • ’, v ■ ~ Apparently the dead woman sympathised with Mrs Thomas, Thomas spoke to Mrs Lenthnll over the back fence, then went through with a razor in his- hand. Mrs Lentball’s throat was gashed from ear to ear. She died in a few minutes. Auothbr neighbour witnessed the deed. • Received April 37, 11110 p.m. / BRISBANE, April 27. Richard Thomas was remanded at Maryborough for eight dayß on a charge )of murdering Mrs Lenthall.
