STINGING CONTROVERSY CONTINUES. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November 16. The controversy regarding the Liberal leadership continues. The “Sunday Express” points out that if Mr Lloyd George becomes leader of the Parliamentary Party, Mr Asquith will still be leader of the Party throughout the country. It'is stated that Mr Lloyd George provided £50,000 for election purposes out of the National Liberal Fund. He was asked for £IOO,OOO, in which case the Liberals could have run 500 instead of 300 candidates.
