BALL AT PAREORA.

The spinsters and bachelors, of, Pare-, ora helcf their annual ball in the Public Hall, which was tastefully decorated ■with greenery and streamers of red, green and yellow. Excellent music was supplied by the Alorgan-De Latour orchestra, extras being played by Airs AVeenink, Aliss Hall, and Mr C. Hanson. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Air F. Evans of feoutliburn. About 60 couples took part in. the Grand Afarch, which was led off by Aliss Creasey and Air L: G. Howard (joint secretaries). Amongst those present were Ales'dames R. Alunro, E.
