MEAT STATISTICS.' By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 28. The Meat Producers’, Board reports that the frozen meat shipped from New Zealand in the 1923-24 season, was:—. Beef 176.078 quarters; mutton 1,095,238 carcases; lamb 3,700,408 carcases. The killings at all works wero:— Beef 250.366 quarters; wether mutton 964,036 carcases; ewe mutton 854,746; lamb 4.676,999. Freight carcase stocks on hand at loth Juno totalled—Beef 95,594 quarters, .wether mutton 308,400 carcases, ewe mutton 476,966, lamb 1,033,002. Stocks loaded into steamers not departed from New Zealand at the same date were—Beef 14,414 quarters, mutton 4898 carcases, lamb 32,161.
