RACECOURSE RIOT.
EXASPERATION of the crowd. By Guile, —Press Association —Copyright. Received 10.30 p.m,, June 30. PARIS, June 30. There were extraordinary scenes at the end of the day’s racing. The crowd, exasperated by the judge disqualifying a creditable winner of the last race, besieged the committeeroom, and threw stones and chairs at the owners and committee members, shouting “Thieves," “Crooks.” The police and municipal guards, and then cavalry, had to be called in to surround the building before order was restored.
