Firpo has signed a contract for the Firpo-Wilis fight to be staged in New York or New Jersey, about 30th August. Firpo is guaranteed 100,000 dollars,'with the option of 37-j per cent, of the gate receipts. Firpo sails for the United States not later than sth July. Received June 29, 5,5 p.m. NEAV YORK, June 28. According to a telegram from Trenton (Now Jersey State) the Athletic Commissioner approved of the articles of agreement between Firpo and Wills, for a bout in Boye’s Thirty Acres, on August 30. It is announced that since the bout will lead to a championship fight, the promoters v.'il he permitted to charge the maximum admittance, 25 dollars, plus tax.
