The Legislative Council passed through all its stages this morning the Imprest Supply Bill voting supply for Government Departments. A month’s leave of absence, on account of illness, was granted to bir Edward Alitchelson, and absence for the duration of tiie session, to the Hon. E. Newman, who is absent from the Dominion. The Hon. AI. Cohen gave notice of motion drawing the attention of the Government to the case of the lad j nival, an American, adjudicated upon by Air Poynton, S.AL, at Auckland recently.
