Fences, electric poles and buildings in course of erection, were blown down in the Woollongong district, and roofs -were partly torn off many houses. The wireless aerial of the steamer Benelia, between Adelaide and Melbourne, was carried away by a ninety miles per hour hurricane. Vessels in Bass Strait suffered a severe buffetting.
