AMERICANS FIGHT FILIPINOS
By Cable—Press Association- —Copyright. . Received 5.5 p.m., June 25. LONDON, June 24. Visiting American naval men at Torquay, sought to prevent Filipinos dancing with white women in a public hall. A fracas arose, knives, sticks and stones being used. The position was becoming alarming, when luckily A naval patrol arrived and restored order. There were numerous serious casualties on both sides.
