DELIBERATION AT CONGRESS. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, June 22. The Refrigeration Congress decider to urge the International Institute o: Refrigeration .to give special atten tion to fruit preservation, and refer red the question of the utilisation o: liquid air in tho preservation of food stuffs to the international Colt Storage Institute. A motion was agreed to urging tlia pre-cooling of fruit should be recom mended, but not made compulsory. The next Congress will meet aRome in 192'. The final session of the Congres: adopted a. resolution in favour of tlu standardisation of international unit: of cohl, and an international agree ment .on the specification of refriger ation .capacity. Other motions agreed upon urgec the Government of producing eoun tries to introduce legislation standardising the methods of inspection oi refrigerated produce intended foi overseas; that certificates granted bj the Governments of producing countries should be accepted as final ir consuming countries; that inspectioi of frozen produce on arrival in consuming countries should be oonfinec to that necessary to ensure that the produce was in good marketable conrHf.irvn_
