S.O.S CALL.
STEAMER BELIEVED ' : FOUNDERED.
By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. ..Received 5.5 p.m., June 22. RANGOON, June 21. The steamer Leicestershire reports having received an S.O.S. from the steamer Clan Macmillan, stating that she was sinking, thirty miles east of Table Island, 170 miles from the Andamans. The Leicestershire steamed to the position indicated, but saw no sign of the Clan Macmillan,' or the boats, but. continuing the search. A report from Andamans states that the boats were sighted off the .slands.
(Received 12.0 a.m., June 23.) RANGOON, June 21. The report that the Clan Macmillan’s boats were seen off Andamans was untrue. The latest message from the Leicestershire says that there is no trace of the ship or boats.
