LABOUR.
STOREMEN’S AWARD. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 19. The hearing of the industrial dispute between the grain and wool stores section of the New Zealand Storemen and Packers’ Union and the employers m the Northern Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Otago, and Southland districts, was concluded before the Council of Conciliation today. Agreement was arrived at on alf points. Wages were fixed as follows: —Casuals, Is 101 d per hour; casuals, oil stores, Is llld; permanent hands £4 per week; permanent hands, oil stores, £4 2s 6d. One penny per hour additional was awarded to workers classing hides, .sheepskins, rabbi*•skins, or wool, and to workers controlling grass-seed and grain-cleaning operations, and sampling seed and grain. Wages of youths were fixed as follows: —IS years and under, £2 por week: 19 vears, £2 10s; 20 years, £3,
