SMUGGLERS CAUGHT.
BIG HAUL OF DRUGS. Received 5.5 p.m., June 17. Reuter’s Telegrams. NEW YORK, June 16. Drugs, valued at more than two million dollars, were seized on a truck coming from a pier at Hoboken (New Jersey). The seizure is said by agents of the Treasury Department to have uncovered one of the most elaborate and effective schemes ever divulged in connection with smuggling narcotics.
