AMERICA’S FORMIDABLE TEAM

The main body of the United States Olympic athletes (233 strong), sailed in a specially chartered steamer. The American track and field stars number 105. There are 11 gymnasts, 26 boxersj 17 wrestlers, 36 men, 24 women swimmers, 7 cyclists, 17 fencers, 10 oarsmen.
The Yale University rowing eight, which will represent the United States in the Olympics, will sail on Saturday.
