STATEMENT OF NEW PREMIER IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

The Premier (Mr J. Gunn) in tho course of a statement, said one of the first measures to bo introduced by the Government will be the constitutional reform of Parliament. He said it would have to be democratised to give effect to the will of the people. The Government would endeavour to pass a Bill for proportional representation, and also one reducing the Assembly from 46 to 35.
