Negotiations for the Wills lirpo match were resumed between I irpo and Tuan Homs, Tex Rickard’s agent, on tho basis of a new offer by Mr Rickard, considerably reducing the original offer of 250,000 dollars. Mr Rickard lowered the sum because of the failure of Wills to knock out Madden. The new terms are not disclosed, but it is that- a large reduction in the gun mi tee is entailed, balanced by an offer of a liberal percentage of the gate receipts. Firpo requested time to finish a cinema production. Ho does not want to leave for the United States before July 17.
