(Received 5.5 p.m., June 15.) LONDON, June 13. t
Summing up at the Byfieet inquest, the Coroner commented on the sordid conditions at the B.ue Anchor Hotel. At the time of the tragedy, Yaquim seemed passionately and lustfully fond of Sirs Jones. There was no ground for the suggestion that Jones committed suicide.
The jury, after 130 minutes’ retirement, returned a verdict that Jones died from strychnine poisoning admin istered by some person or persons with intent to cause death.
Answering the Coroner, the foreman said: “We cannot arrive at anything more definite than that. We are oi opinion the murder was committed by someone living in the hotel at that time.”
